Chapter 919 Aftermath-1

" Now that the matter is settled. What are we going to do now?" Delphi sighed and asked how they should proceed with the party.

Before Samuel could invite her Bernard interjected," Mr Samuel, I can see you have something to say to my daughter but before that I want to have some of her time."

Samuel looked at his expensive watch and saw it was only five in the evening. He might miss the 'walks' but he was sure he would be able to attend the evening gala and after party.

" Alright. I will mingle with the other guests. Yiu guys can take your time." He said and left them to their own devices.

Their blow was too sudden, he knew Bernard had to talk to top management and come up with a plan so as to not shake the foundation of the group. Delphina's inauguration as the chairmwoman was pretty much a done deal so he could take a more passive stance and let it all play out.

" Thank you, I promise you will not regret helping my daugher." Bernard put forward his hand which Samuel took as his sign of gratitude.

" Right, we also made a deal with Miss Alexis. I hope you can overlook her discretions. She would eventually want to cash out at that time you can swiftly recoup her part of the shares if not you can ask me for help. I am very optimistic about this company, the terms would be same I only want to reap the benifits." He reminded him.

" Have you talked to her folks? They might not like to let go of their control. Hermes has always been a shrewd bunch. I might try to implement some of their tactics to train future generations of company leaders."

" It's a good system and yes, I did talk to her father. I would risk jeopardizing my plan due to unknown factors. No matter what they are making returns so they would be quiet for now but I can't promise anything in future." Samuel said it outright so as to not give him any false hope.

" Well, they had always been like this. Don't worry I will also discuss with them what they want to do in the future."

He knew almost everything about all fields as well as most of the things about current events.

They never thought he was so easy going, he was humble and kind as well a gentleman whenever other girls came up to say hello to him.

He kept his distance from those who were too eager get close to him. Last think he wanted was to come face to face with an angry husband or boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Bernard and Delphina chatted for about an hour. Bernard had to discuss everything with her daughter as soon as possible because the news would be out tomorrow. Someone was bound to leak the news so company had to make a official statement as soon as possible.

Bernard decided it was best to aend Alan away to few impoverished countries keeping an eye on him throughout his whole ordeal for any change in his behaviour. It would be best for him to face some difficulties and he also didn't want to fully cut off his son. He had enough money to promise him a comfortable life but he would never have any say in company's future.

" Lastly, I will only say that I will give you my blessings if you decide to chase him. He is an exceptional young man which means there would be a lot of people chasing after his success. You have to be the one to seize thr opportunity." He patted his daughter's head.

He was tall but her daughter took after her mother, a exceptional beauty with blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. She was a bit thin but he knew such was the rave among this generation.

He also had some hint about her different tastes but she never let her personal life took charge when she was working.

" Father...you..." Delphina didn't answer him but her flushed expression told him everything.

Their awkward conversation didn't last long, they soon joined the party. Delphina and Sharon talked a bit before heading toward Samuel and Alexis.
