Chapter 871 Visit-3

The whole diner turned silent with only Elise's sobbing remaining confusing everyone. Genevieve had been the poster girl for this place since she was a child.

Most of them had seen her grow her occasionally helping in the kitchen and even serving the foods but they never thought that they would suddenly be greeted with such shock today.

A secret love child? After couple of moments, the room was filled with murmurs which drowned Elise's crying noises.

Genevieve who was shocked to suddenly see Elise disregarded everything, she got on her knees and hugged the girl first trying hard to console her.

" What happened? Why is my baby crying? Did others bully you?" She pulled her in her arms but she was still inconsolable.

Feeling gazes of people, Genevieve decided it was best to take Elise to the back of the kitchen but she was still calling her mother.

That's when the initiators decided to show themselves, Alana, Katarina and Roberta walked up to her with awkward expression followed by Lilly who told her people to wait outside.

" What's going on? Why is everyone here?" Genevieve never thought she would have to face them so soon. It's only been couple of hours but seeing them again, she looked at the door hoping to catch his glimpse but sadly no one came.

Waiting for them to answer, she never expected ro be ambushed by her parents and little brother who had already heard the commotion from one of the waiters. She informed them about the situation which they didn't believe at first but when they saw and heard how Genevieve was treating Elise they began to get suspicious.

" Don't talk at the door, take them upstairs. We will have a talk soon." Her father said sternly, he didn't want to start any rumours.

" Cheri, don't worry. I will help you convince your father." Her mother whispered to her before pausing to look at Elise's face. She had nudged her face against her neck but she could tell that little girl was quite cute.

She was never enthusiastic about it especially these third party dealing, she believed that if they didn't even had the courage to meet her, why would she even entertain such an idea beside, she was more focused on her work and dreams. Dating was never a priority to her.

Raphael who was sitting in the corner was most effected by this news, how would he able to protect anyone from outside?

He decided it's best to come forward and tell them blunty that his employer was among that group.

" Didn't you hear it? We are closing today, you can come back some other time." Her brother saw rhe burly man walking toward them.

" I am sorry but I have to protect my client. I will not meddle but I can't leave them alone."

" Client? Who is your client?" he asked suspiciously.

" I can't tell you that. You can go upstairs and ask them, they will clarify it on my behalf." Raphael didn't say anything else, taking the seat closest to the stairs. In case something did happen he was confident he would be able to barge inside within seconds!

Her father was getting annoyed. Not only her daughter's reputation was ruined but there was a dangerous person refusing to leave his store? He wasn't a pushover so he was going to walk over and confront him about it when his son held him back.

He suddenly remembered something that he saw this morning, everything started to make sense now that he thought about it.

The mysterious man that her sister was with who dropped her off in an expensive car. He had never seen him before and he also didn't look like typical local.

His sister had never been a overly friendly person so her forwardness in their exchange was strange. Did she really have a secret baby?
