None of the people in the room could refute his arguments. If what he was telling was true and those girls were staying with him, they wouldn't be able to snoop around in fear of triggering his suspicion.

Gerard suddenly laughed feeling why Nathaniel was being so hesitant. These starlets went through hell and back just to make a name in the industry. The grim reality was that everyone knew about various inside dealings in the industry.

Knowing the exploitative nature, most of them perceived these girls as vengeful by the time they reach the top, could they blame them? No matter how hard they tried if they were not unique, their career were firmly held in the hands of few agency. He always instilled this face in the leadership faction but there were always some bad apples in the mix, still he always dealt with them harshly to make an example of things.

Nathaniel who had only seen half of his face knew that Samuel must have good looks but even then, he could never have imagined his original appearance.

The room turned silent again that's when Gerard started speaking, " There is no time to marvel at him. It's up to you now that you know what you are up against. Just remember not to make him our enemy, of he ask for something you can fully extend our help. You can later report it to me or your father."

He looked at their faces seeing if anyone has any more question before adjourning the meeting. Everyone left to do their job, dealing with Samuel was only possible when they made their preparation for the lavish party.

Gerard only smiled and said," Sooner or later the baby bird had to leave it's nest. I just hope that he could live a good life different from what we experienced."

Alain looked at his brother with a grateful eyes. Even after countless fights and arguments, their brotherly bond was still as strong as they first took over the company from their father. They began to reminisce about their past completely leaving the situation in Nathaniel's hands who was now rushing to venue location first. He wanted to meet Lucie first to see what he was dealing with.
