The small door hit Elise in the forehead making her stagger backward. She barely manage to get a hold of herself before seeing the white horse domineeringly looking down on her. It was only now, she realize how different this horse was from Sjors and others.

Samuel had warned her not to approach strange animals because not all of them would be as friendly as what she saw in the Estate but she didn't care about it, naively thinking that she could make friends with any animals.

But now being so close to getting trampled, made her realize what fear was. Seeing the horse move, she covered her ears and balled herself. The horse didn't care about the little girl, he was more worried about the rushing staff that were there to subdue him. Your journey continues on empire

Meanwhile Samuel was meeting up with the 'guests'. They were the same people from the french government that he met yesterday. " I don't really care about such things. What I want is a comfortable place for the horses that I am planning to raise here."

" To do that you would need to open Château d'or Vicomte to the public too right? I guess that was your end goal from the beginning."

They stiffened up because they didn't expect him to be so direct. It was true that they wanted to talk about it since the beginning but they were hesitant seeing him react so aggressively from the beginning.

" Alright, you can draft up a plan but I have to make one thing clear. These people were waiting for him whole night and only upon Henri's reminder that he invited them in. Once he was away, they wouldn't be able to contact him if he didn't want it to happen.

After saying a few words, they hurriedly left to inform their superiors about the result. Normally such a thing would be handled by cultural division but since it was someone from Rothschild family, even higher up were paying attention to it.

Samuel walked out the door thinking about how happy Elise would be hearing that she could have her very own ranch here.

" By now, she must have seen the horses right? I should go and join them." He thought about her angel like smile.

Suddenly, someone came running to him and immediately knelt on the ground while catching his breath. Samuel was surprised but seeing the horrified look on his face, he felt that there was something wrong.

" Y-young master, something t-terrible happened." Samuel heart tightened hearing what he said after it. He immediately rushed to the scene with a heavy heart.
