Chapter 821 Tension-2
Chapter 821 Tension-2
" What happened to you? You haven't said a word and keep sighing." Genevieve asked Helga seeing her quietly walking at the back of the group.
They were out on a stroll with Elise. The previous tension died down a lot with Elise's addition, her cheerful smile made them forgot about what happened in the morning.
" Don't think too much about it. I know you are worrying about whether we have to return but I will make sure that doesn't happen even if I have to sacrifice somethings for it." Katarina patted her back gently. After all she was the one that brought her here, even if she couldn't protect her because of her silly mistake, she wouldn't let it happen twice!
" I am fine. I was just thinking about something and it's not serious as you think. Sami will definitely fulfill his promise." Helga said while shaking her head. Others were concerned about how to approach him but she was the completely opposite. She wanted to know if he really forgot about what happened last night.
" You never fail to take his side. Are you hiding something from me?" Katarina asked.
" What? Why would I do that? I just trust him."
" That's some trust you have."
Katarina could feel that there was something wrong with Helga but she didn't want to push her. She wanted to fish for more information but they heard Elise's excited voice from front. Everyone became curious but soon their curiosity was answered.
" Wow, horses? I remember they weren't here yesterday?"
" Someone also cleaned it up. This place looked like a abandoned warehouse yesterday!"
" I had never seen horses up close."
But they didn't notice Elise secretly sneaking around the perimeter. She was determined to make friends not knowing that the reason why she was able to do it was because Samuel's presence. Without him, these horses wouldn't understand what she was trying to say.
" Is that so? I can't wait to see it. I heard there are quite a few noble breeds but wouldn't they find a little cramp here?" Roberta asked not even realizing that Elise had slipped away.
" I heard that they are planning to convert a part of the garden into grassland. Apparently young master isn't a fan of these fancy flowers....ah, I am sorry. Please-"
" It's fine. We are not type of people that would talk behind one's back beside, I could understand what he feels."
" Really? Don't you know that this place has tremendous cultural heritage? How could he destroy it?" Genevieve wasn't fond of the idea. She could tell that the garden was meticulously arranged and maintained by the previous owner. Samuel shouldn't get rid of it just because he doesn't like it.
" He bought the place, why should he care about such things? If the country was that worried about it they should have taken over this place."
" How can you say that? there are some rules that you have to follow. How would you feel if someone goes to your home and start remodelling it?"
" If the model is good, I will be fine with it. I mean, It's not like I am paying for anything."
" Y-you..." Genevieve became speechless seeing Roberta's shameless side. Their little conflict gave Elise ample window to get near one of the pens, inside which was a pure white horse with impeccable hair. Just from a glance one could tell that how soft his mane's were.
The lock was just high enough for Elise to reach, she extended herself and with some effort manage to unlock the small gate. The white horse was also curiously looking at her from the top, it was fortunate that it didn't lower his head to directly bite at Elise's small head.
" Miss! Don't!" The staff noticed just in time but Elise was faster. She was determined so she flung open the small door not anticipating that the horse who was already feeling stuffed inside his little barn would lunge forward seeing his chance to escape.
