Chapter 1145 Meeting-2

The taxi stopped at right outside the Achilles Firm. It was common to see such a scene if it was a investor or someone who was trying to remain lowkey.

From the cleaning lady to the top executives were getting paid a lot, so much so that even when they would tell their relatives others wouldn't believe it.

Samuel was very tough on everyone and there were quite a lot of rules working for the firm as most of their moves would be monitored by financial giants.

With such treatment, it was obvious the employees quality of life improved and almost all of them drove to the office. Some even rode their bikes as a way to excercise while saving fuel.

No one really paid attention to the taxi but when it came to the dedicated area where important people would get off, the surrounding people started staring at the scene.

When the firm started, Samuel did splurge a little and bought a neat building anticipating the future development of the firm.

It wasn't exactly at the center of the city but it was close enough for him to cost a fortune for the buyout.

After elegant renovation which were minimalistic and moderate in taste but there were many cool features involved, one of them was for welcoming high profile guests.

His funds not only had civilians but there were also some politicians and even wealthy businessman, just trying to make a connection for future events.

Such people never really came in person so the extended driveway was never really used. Samuel had asked the Taxi driver to take him there as he felt a little awkward to ride in taxi which would become a blemish for his perfect boss persona.

As soon as he went out of the elevator, he saw Theo Baker walking with two people by his side.

He also noticed the dedicated elevator open only to see Samuel step outside. He was momentarily surprised by his appearance but soon composed himself.

" Morning Boss." He bowed slight and his people did the same.

" Morning. I presume we have less problems in the company now?" Samuel asked.

Money was one thing but Theo had a special role. He was appointed after the trafficking fiasco when the mysterious organisation was using few of his Verdant branches to further their agenda.

Not much was known about him but according to Aunt Ludivine, Uncle Daniel's wife and a former head hunter, he was the best in the business to sniffing out rats and other potential dangers in the company.

His task was to observe everyone including the leadership personnel of the company and keep them in line so that they wouldn't do the same stupid mistake of betraying the company for personal gains.

After the initial phase and seeing Theo's bright result of catching almost a dozen high management employee connected to various misdeeds, he expanded Theo's budget to include even the branch offices around the world just in case.

"It's not even been a year since the last breach. After your stern warning, I believe even if someone have ill intentions they wouldn't risk the exposure but we do have some usual detractors with petty crimes." He gave a brief summary.

" Well, as long as the company keeps producing results I don't care how you deal with them. Just follow the rules and gave them a chance to voluntarily quit. It would be wise for them if they didn't want to get blackballed in the industry." Samuel said as he started walking toward the meeting room.

Theo acknowledged the task but still followed him. Even if it would be a waste of time, these meetings were a perfect opportunity for him to get to 'know' high level employee at a personal level.

Regardless, He wasn't someone who would take the task lightly especially knowing what was at stake!
