She wasn't someone that was used to being pushed around. If someone dared to disrespect her, they had to pay the price.

Samuel could only shut his mouth and leave it up to her after all he knew how she was usually like. Even if she seemed obsessive and aloof on the surface, he knew she could be quite vindictive when it came to family matters.

He slowly cleaned the dishes thinking about how he should do it. He went through many scenarios in his head, in all of them, he saw her cry as soon he brought up the matter about him leaving.

He kept thinking about it while his hands moved automatically cleaning up the dishes. He was suddenly awaken by Mayra who hugged him from behind.

" No matter what you do, she would be sad so just say it to her. The sooner you say it, the more time you will have to coax her. You already taught her not to throw tantrums so I think she would understand if he told her in a kindly manner." She whispered in a gentle voice.

It was quite funny to see him like this over such a small matter. He was making it out like he was leaving her forever. He might spoil her too much which made her too attached to him.

If not for his work, he could easily raise her but she had to start schooling soon and had to fit in with other kids. It might take her mind off him and also give her something to do when she and Kayla were busy with work. They couldn't always push thr responsibility of raising her to Mathilda.
