Slowly Falling into His Love Trap

Chapter 409: Not Gentle at All

Chapter 409: Not Gentle at All

Forcing himself to suppress the evil thoughts in his heart, Caden Lockwood withdrew his gaze from Evelyn Morgan and focused on driving.

If an accident were to happen on the road, the consequences would be unimaginable.

But he simply couldn’t control his gaze, constantly glancing towards Evelyn Morgan.

Caden Lockwood felt as if he were a lecherous, perverted old man at that moment.

Not just lecherous?

Also perverted?

Caden simply couldn’t stand evaluating himself this way.

He couldn’t help but increase his speed, under the night sky, as if he had merged with the black car, exuding a powerful, cold ferocity.

The car quickly arrived outside the villa, and Caden instructed Aunt May to leave the door wide open, telling her to stay in her room and not intervene no matter what happened.

When Caden carried Evelyn Morgan from the passenger seat, she was already awake.

She looked at Caden, blinked her eyes, rubbed them, and once she confirmed it was him, a bright smile blossomed on her face.

Caden’s heart fluttered, moments later, he saw Evelyn’s eyes brimming with grievance.

"Bad man." Evelyn mumbled, half-dazed, half-conscious, "Don’t touch me, put me down."

"Sober now? Then let’s have a good talk!" Caden ordered.

With strong and powerful arms, he easily picked up Evelyn, showing no hesitation as he walked back to the room.

"I’ve already said it!" Evelyn shouted in a fit of pique, "I don’t want to talk with you! Whether it’s you or Logan Shaw, I won’t talk!"

"Don’t let that man’s name come out of your mouth again!" Caden’s voice squeezed out through clenched teeth.

He looked down, his gaze fiercely locked onto Evelyn’s face, his thin lips moving slightly, "Otherwise, I might want to kill you."

Evelyn continued to shout, "What’s wrong with Logan Shaw?"

Fueled by the alcohol, her courage seemed particularly strong.

"What’s unspeakable about Logan Shaw? You won’t let me say it, but I insist! Logan Shaw! Logan Shaw! Where are you!"

As soon as Evelyn finished speaking, Caden suddenly hurled his arm, throwing her onto the bed, his eyebrows exuding ruthlessness.

He glared at Evelyn, warning her, "Don’t provoke me!"

Seeing Caden so fierce, Evelyn felt her nose tingle.

What did she do to provoke him?

"Should I thank you?" Evelyn felt even more wronged, "Thank you for saving me, thank you for not leaving me by the roadside, thank you for throwing me on the bed, thank you for giving me the noble status of Mrs. Lockwood."

As she spoke, she rubbed her nearly broken small waist, pouted her mouth, and murmured to herself, "Not gentle at all."

Caden raised an eyebrow, keeping a fixed gaze on Evelyn, continuously restraining himself from being impulsive, from arguing with her.

Seeing Caden remaining silent, Evelyn rubbed her sore backside, got up, and headed for the bedroom door.

"Where are you going?" Caden asked harshly.

"Going out to sleep." Evelyn replied softly.

As she spoke, she had already opened the door.

"Evelyn!" Caden roared in anger.

In the gap when Evely opening the door, Caden strode over and suddenly slammed it shut heavily.

The door made a "bang" sound, particularly frightening in the night.

Caden glared at Evelyn, his emotions easily swayed by her, suddenly becoming irritable.

This reckless and hateful woman, must she repeatedly provoke him like this?

"What exactly do you want!" Evelyn was also enraged, "Do you think you’re almighty just because you’re powerful? On what grounds do you think you can control me? I want to sleep outside; I don’t want to sleep with you. I get annoyed when I see you, can’t I?"

"Who don’t you find annoying when you see them?" Caden spoke fiercely, "Logan Shaw?"

"Are you secretly in love with Logan Shaw?" Evelyn shouted, "All you think about every day is Logan Shaw, are you secretly in love with him?"
