Chapter 597 Love and Affection
Chapter 597 Love and Affection
As the end credits of Jurassic Park slowly rolled over and the last vestiges of the background music faded into the quiet air, Satsuki stretched lazily in Naruto's arms.
A muffled sound escaped her throat, like the soft whimper a kitten makes after being petted comfortably. The movie's plot was thrilling, but for Zuo Yue, it was a little hard to get into, because she was someone who could treat tailed beasts like cats.
Satsuki didn't offer any comments after watching. She slumped down again, nestled back into Naruto's arms, and closed her eyes.
"Satsuki, are you sleepy?" Naruto asked.
"Um……"
Naruto reached out and found a hidden switch under the sofa armrest. He gently flipped it. A slight turning sound came from inside the sofa, and the backrest slowly reclined until it came to a fully reclined position.
Naruto pulled up the soft, fluffy blanket and covered Satsuki and himself with it.
"Then let's take a nap." Naruto's voice was much simpler than usual, because the languor that seeped into his bones made his tongue a little sluggish.
"Okay..." Zuo Yue responded, and then she moved. She straightened up, pulled her arm out from under the covers, and reached her fingers to her chest, pinching the sash of her bathrobe.
As the ties loosened, the collar of her bathrobe slipped slightly to the sides. Without hesitation, she took the untied bathrobe off her shoulders and tossed it aside.
Then she lay down again, back in Naruto's arms.
"Satsuki!" Naruto's voice suddenly rose, his body tensing slightly for a moment. "Why...why are you doing this...?"
"Why..." Satsuki's ears turned red. But she teased, "Isn't this what I always do when Naruto and I sleep together?"
"But... that was all after we did that kind of thing..." Naruto's voice trailed off.
"Okay." Satsuki's voice interrupted him. She reached out and pinched the sash of his bathrobe, untying it one by one in the exact same way he had watched her untie it earlier.
She took his bathrobe off her shoulders, folded it, and placed it next to her own. The two bathrobes lay side by side on the tatami mat.
"This is very inconvenient."
Satsuki posted it.
Without any gap, her skin touched his skin, her temperature touched his temperature, her heartbeat touched his heartbeat.
It's very soft, so soft it feels like it has no bones, yet it's also very elastic, so elastic that when you stick to it you won't feel like you're sinking in and can't get out.
Then, Satsuki saw Naruto's somewhat unbearable gaze. His pupils dilated slightly, the blue becoming deeper and more intense, as if he had swum from shallow waters into the deep sea.
Satsuki's mischievous smile was barely concealed. She knew what he was enduring.
"Not now."
Zuo Yue spoke. She drew a small circle on his chest with her finger. "I'm a little sleepy… how about we wait until I wake up?"
"Besides, you need to take a shower afterward. In the current situation, it's more suitable to go to sleep than to shower."
"What's the current situation?"
"Hmm," Zuo Yue replied. "It looks like it's going to rain heavily outside in a bit."
Naruto got up in surprise. He walked to the courtyard gate, opened the paper door, and the courtyard with the hot spring unfolded in the dim light of the day. He looked up at the sky.
Sure enough, although it wasn't obvious, water droplets had already begun to slowly fall from the sky.
Naruto stood there for a few seconds, then closed the door and returned to the sofa. He lay back, looking somewhat dejected.
Zuo Yue chuckled softly as she looked at him. She moved closer, gently clamping Naruto's legs between her own, and pressing her upper body against him.
This agitated Naruto even more. His fingers curled up again, and his body tensed up once more.
"Satsuki... um."
Naruto had barely finished speaking when Satsuki's lips pressed against his.
The kiss ended quickly. She let go of him.
After they separated, Zuoyue's eyes became hazy, and her eyelashes trembled slightly, like the fluttering of a butterfly's wings.
"If you do it, you'll break out in a sweat," Satsuki's voice continued, soft and gentle. "But Naruto did a great job; he kept holding me tight the whole time."
"So, Naruto, now you should get some rest."
Her hand moved down from his chest, leaving a warm trail on his skin.
"Let Satsuki take care of you."

Once Naruto was completely satisfied, he slumped limply next to Sasuke. After a quick clean-up, the two lay back down in bed. Naruto turned to his side and rubbed against Sasuke like a giant golden retriever.
His eyes were half-open, reflecting an undisguised and naked infatuation.
Satsuki raised her hand and gently ran her fingers through Naruto's golden hair, stroking it softly from his forehead to the back of his head, from the back of his head to the ends of his hair, and then back to his forehead.
She felt that Naruto would do whatever she asked him to do now. If she asked him to pour water, he would pour water; if she asked him to turn off the lights, he would turn off the lights; if she asked him to say "I love you," he would say "I love you"; if she asked him to say it a hundred times, he would say it a hundred times without hesitation.
Sure enough, she knew that spending time learning about the plots in those comics was absolutely the right thing to do.
What she learned was not in vain, and the time she spent was not wasted. All those nights she secretly spent reading those books under the lamp, which she didn't want anyone to know about, had meaning at this moment.
These experiences made Zuo Yue realize that men need more than just love; they also need the feeling that "you are willing to do anything for him," the courage that "you are willing to become a different person for him," and the trust that "you are willing to show him your most shy and least daring side without reservation."
Exhausted, both of them felt heavy. They shifted their positions, with Satsuki turning to her side and pressing her face against Naruto's chest. Naruto put his arm around her shoulder, and their legs intertwined under the covers. Their body heat was transmitted through the thin fabric, just the right amount of warmth. They pressed their bodies close together and closed their eyes.
The rain outside intensified. The raindrops pattered against the eaves, making a loud but not disturbing sound; rather, it was like a lullaby, separating the warm little house, filled with the warmth of the two of them, from the outside world.
The room was quiet, with only the steady breathing of the two people and the occasional rustling of the blankets as they turned over.
And so, enveloped by the sound of rain, the softness of the blankets, and the warmth of each other's bodies, their consciousnesses slowly, little by little, sank away.
Slowly and unknowingly, I slid into the riverbed of my dreams.

(As expected... I always have to cut some parts when writing these kinds of passages.)
