Chapter 996 Before Departure-2

" I understand." Samuel simply shrugged against the tension in the room which was dense enough to be cut by a sharp knife. The girls gasped not knowing why his demeanor was so nonchalant.

" What? Everyone has to work. Isn't it fine that you got to rest for few days before heading back to your usual routine?"

" I thought you would be more...."

" Desperate?" Robyn chimed in flashing a smile. Her cheeks were already flushed but she still maintained her sanity which meant she had some tolerance to the red liquid.@@@@

" Oh, don't look at me like that. I told you that he would be unfazed." Robyn mumbled before going back to drowning herself in the bottle.

" I also need to head out. There was something about promotion of the new album but I am too drunk to remember the details. They are pestering me for an address, I hope it wouldn't cause any unnecessary problems." Robyn added.

" It's fine. I will tell Raphael to prepare for it." Sneaking them out was a piece of cake.

" And for the rest of you, there is no need to be so anxious. It's not like we will not meet in the future." Samuel said with a laugh but Disha wasn't so sure about it, it was written all over her face.

" There is a reason why they are feeling restless. I think they are feeling guilty." Miranda commented. She did tell them how Samuel would react but they didn't think he would be so indifference toward their departure.

She looked past his behaviours and peering deep in his green eyes could see that his hospitality was genuine and he didn't even treat her any different from others.

She had never met someone her age that could ever evoke feelings that she was feeling in her heart. The more she learn about him, the more the feeling grew making her flustered when girls would talk about him and their encounters with him.

As someone who never even went pass the kissing stage in her prior relationship, she felt a strange stage of uneasiness, like for him she would be willing to defy even her parents whom she respected highly.

It was strange seeing him surrounded by beautiful women but still not feeling any disgust about such a foreign concept. It was because she could see how he treated them and those around him, no matter the circumstances, he treated them as equal and often ask for their opinions. He could be commanding but at the same time kind, helping others without a cause and even give orders that was teetering on the borderline cruel. She didn't know what to do with these feelings and feared that she wouldn't be meet him in the future as they lived in two different worlds!

" You know, I think it's about time you all are integrated into the sacred club. I think in this way all of you could be connected and get all the latest news." Nicole giggled tripping over falling into Anastasiya's arms. Samuel facepalmed knowing that she was too far gone and things would only get crazy from now on.

Seeing the calm and composed maid, behave like a schoolgirl did lessen the tension in the room after which she began telling them about the so called club. Fearing of the onslaught of questions coming his way, he decided it was best to leave these girls alone.

The bed was big enough for them to get cozy, he could just stay in one of the numerous guest room down the hall. They were so engrossed in Nicole's drunken ramble that he was able to slip pass them under the guise of relieving himself.

He firmly locked the door stopping any incoming chaos coming his way. His sleep was more important knowing the devastation Nicole would cause if he let her slip past his defenses. With crisis averted, he slipped to the dreamworld to get a good night rest!
