Chapter 987: Circumstances-1

" Good morning, Nicole, you are early." Samuel was enjoying the tea looking over the beautiful sunrise on top of tall trees surrounding the estate. The wind was more colder than usual but he was never bothered by it even when he was wearing lighter clothes.

" And whose fault is that?" Nicole shot back with a slight irritation in her voice.

" Are you angry? You know, you shouldn’t frown so much, it may lead to some permanent wrinkles on you face." He said with a chuckle probing to know what she was angry about. It shouldn’t be something that happened with Anastasiya and other right? After all, they were fine during dinner.

" Stupid young master!" She grumbled seeing his signature smug smile. How she loved it and hated it at the same time!

" If you don’t tell me what’s wrong, how can I know what’s bothering you? Did they say something to you?" He thought it wasn’t right to continue teasing her. As his exclusive maid, she had too much power and he didn’t feel like eating extra salty dishes for his next meal.

She blushed slightly before saying," Why couldn’t you keep it quiet? I heard few people whispering about what you did last night. Even I woke up early because of...some disturbances." She knew what they were but they should have locked the door but apparently it was open for all night long.

Nicole had woken up few hours earlier but she didn’t have the heart to interject them. From the noises, they were very much into it till the end.

" I..I don’t know what to say. Everything happened so fast that I didn’t know." Samuel knew he messed up. It seemed like Anastasiya and Miranda forgot to lock the door when they came in last night. Now he had to pretend to his staff and act oblivious or else their side eyes and knowing stares would make him embarrassed.

Maybe he should just put a ban on the main mansion every night making things easier for everyone.

" Hah.." Nicole sighed seeing his genuine expression. She half expected it as another one of his pranks but this time, it seemed to be an accident. She wouldn’t let just anyone come closer to her young master.

" They would need someone that they could trust. I will ask Miss Lucie and Miss Anastasiya for more help. Even Aunt Amanda said that she would provide support when I need it."

" But....it wouldn’t be easy? You have to stay here for maybe upto six months before everything is resolved. There might also be hidden dangers along the way, let others handle it. I can’t risk your safety." He said in a serious tone but it only made things worse.

" I can do it. I never felt strongly about doing something but this time, I want to help them. Young master please~" She pulled out the big guns. Her puppy eyes which instantly put Samuel on edge. He could understand her hell, he brought her here just to show her the world now that she want to do something it would be hard for him to say anything to her.

" What about your studies? Didn’t you say-"

" There are many online courses that I can take. Now that you mention it, I can ask few of them if they would like to change their life around by getting some useful skills. It would be beneficial for them to walk on their own two feet." Samuel cursed inward.

The situation was getting out of control fast, if that were to happen wouldn’t she stay here for years at this point? It’s not that he couldn’t fly back and forth to meet her every few week but he didn’t want to part ways with her. She had been one constant rock in her life along with Adele and Iblis.

After thinking for few minutes and seeing her enthusiasm, he thought it was best to give in for now and later talk with his mother and Amanda for guidance. From the looks of it, it wouldn’t be of much help but he feared for her safety.

Just as he was about to put up his condition, someone disturb their morning. It was Raphael who came in with some more disturbing news. There was someone outside asking for him, she called him by his first name but not only that but she also mentioned Robyn, Kate, Miranda and Dhia.

Hearing it, he instantly listed few suspects but he was totally wrong about it when he eventually saw who it was. Nicole on the other hand, instantly turned on her professional attitude, leading the guest inside to where Samuel was making them sit while she prepared some beverages for her. Just from looking at her face, Samuel knew that something was wrong.

He greeted the guest casually trying to ask why she were here. She should be thousands of kilometers away at this point right? He thought he averted the bullet but he never expected it to land back on his head!
