" Wait! So you are telling me that you had..it with each one of them and they didn’t even notice? I mean you said Helga and Alana were with you and you did the same with Roberta and Katarina right? Why didn’t they tell each other then?" Miranda was just confused.

" I don’t know. The first time was only by chance because they were drunk. After that things sort of moved in....all sort of direction."

" That’s...I don’t know what to say. Why didn’t you stop it the first time it happened?" She asked. Samuel stiffened up when she asked him this question. How could he ever explain his tendency to give in to his lust on worst occasions?

" Well, I am a man and I have needs."

" So you’re telling me you were aware of it for the first time and told them that you too were drunk? Shouldn’t you have told them the truth from the beginning?"

" Maybe but we can’t change the past right?"

Miranda stared at him for a few moments thinking about everything. She never had such a frank conversation with anyone much less a man. She didn’t know why she was asking him such questions but for some reason, the more he told him about the absurd situation the more baffled it made her.

" This past, what can you tell me more about it?"

" What are you a therapist?"

" This....are you sure you are not making up things?" Miranda took whole five minutes to digest the information. Just her reaction told him ample about her nature, she would never agree to such one sided arrangement and he was happy with it. At least he wouldn’t have to deal with her!

" It’s the god’s honest truth. Why would I lie to you?" She squinted her eyes trying to discern whether it was another one of his tricks. By now, she was fully aware that unlike how he showed himself in front other others, the young man in front of her was highly intelligent.

From his speech to how he acted when he convinced, Kate, Robyn and Disha earlier, was all very careful and crafted to perfection. But now, he acted like a lost puppy trying to find answers to these questions that were plaguing him and he also sounded sincere.

" Fine. I believe you but do you know how many people would die to be in your place? You have money and looks beyond comprehension and the love of many girls who care about you."

" I know, I am lucky but I don’t feel bad for myself but for them. I feel like I am taking advantage of their kindness."

" I think that’s where you are wrong. You are always trying to put yourself in their shoes which is noble but you can never understand another person no matter how much you try. There might be strong connection but can you read their mind? Can you understand their way of thinking?

I think many people start to feel like they can understand what others are going through if they had similar experience or think they could understand them if they try their hardest to do so but I think that’s a fool’s way of thinking." She paused for a second trying to think how she should approach the subject.

" They say that it’s your looks that makes you different but I disagree. It’s our mind that makes us different. Each of us have our own way of thinking but even then, the female nature is something that you could never understand, especially as someone from the other side of the field.

So here you are thinking about how you would feel if you were in the same situation as them but have you ever considered that they had already thought about it and were happy to be with you?"
