Chapter 937: Warning-1

Samuel entered the room with his gun raised to the head level. He knew the two people were standing in front of him facing him without making any move. The room was unusually dark but a small overhead light illuminated the room enough to make out few silhouettes.

He looked to the side to see, three girls huddled together shivering, they were looking at his figure with fear but what he was more keen about was the two other people. One of them was facing him while the other was hiding to his left probably to sneak attack him.

Fortunately, they didn’t have a weapon which he found a little odd. The man looked to be in his forties but he was well dressed similar to Arthur. It was then he understood, these two should be Richard’s escort, protecting him from the shadows.

It was understandable as he learned Richard was going to be the next head of the Rockefeller empire. Since they were his guards, they had to be good maybe in the same league as Arthur, the old monster.

" Where is he? You are only denying the inevitable." Samuel said in a flat tone.

" Young man, I don’t know who sent you but I promise we can pay you at least ten times the price. With how easily you breach this place means you have some skills but it wouldn’t be enough to face me." The man said in a hoarse voice.

" Are you so confident in taking me down?"

" Yes, there are only a handful of individuals capable enough to defeat me and I am sure none of them are about your age. I just don’t want someone who has yet to see the world perish in such a miserable way."

" But I am the one carrying the-" Right when Samuel was about to remind him about his glock, a shrill voice rang out after which the gun fell out of his hand. The man in front of him hadn’t made any move but the one in the shadows used some sort of knife to precisely hit the body of the glock.

Before they could say anything, Samuel liften the bed and used it as a cover for the incoming projectile. It not only covered him but also the girls.

" Don’t move if you want to live. Keep yourself hidden, it will be over in few seconds." Samuel looked back and smiled at the three girls. His clothes were soaked in blood not to mention he smelled horrible after dismantling the guards with bare hands. He looked a bigger madman than what they were used to, one of them even lost consciousness.

" I am not a bad person. I promise we will get out of this alive." Samuel shook his head and mumbled, dragging the girl beside him. The other two also followed his command but they were still shaking violently. He patted the girls head to calm them down before sprinting into action.

He was like a shadow going from one cover to another heading straight toward the person hidden in darkness. Within a second, he was face to face with the clown who was throwing knives. Before he could make any sound, Samuel kick landed on his head as he flew ten feet toward the man who was threatening him few minutes ago.

Their bodies collided staggering the man who was still conscious on the ground. Samuel didn’t even give him any chance to speak, with his heavy foot he directly stomped on his chest making him scream. Enjoy more content from empire

He was coughing up blood but Samuel didn’t care, with a knee to his nose, his face cracked leaving him struggling to breath. He was still conscious with a shocked expression on his face. What sort of monster they were facing?

" Do you get it idiot? You both are my prisoners, after I am done with you, you both will be singing like canaries." Samuel green eyes had a tinge of red, maybe it was his enemies blood but the man knew they never even stood a chance against him from the start.

" Please forgive me." He muttered. Samuel thought he was apologizing to him but right at that moment, the man grabbed his partner’s head and with a flick of his wrist, twisted it effectively killing him on the spot.

Samuel wanted to stop him but the man’s mouth started frotting, his body twitched for few more second before he too died on the spot.
