Chapter 913 : Alan's perspective and Delphina's decision!

I'm Alan Arjo. Right now, I'm panicking because I could feel my carefully constructed world collapsing right before my eye. I was born into a family most could only dream of so I took advantage of it at every chance I got.

The world's greatest luxury goods group was founded by my family. Since childhood, while others thought about what to wear and how to present themselves, I had a team who took care of my wardrobe. I wore nothing but designer clothes still I never remember wearing any sets of clothes twice.

Since my childhood, my father had always been strict with me telling me that I had to follow the family business and make it prosperous just like him.

Simultaneously, he never denied me anything. I was an only child which meant she showered me with love if one could call it that but I knew if I wanted something he would go above and beyond to give it to me.

I got everything going my way right up to the point when I discovered my sister. She had been quite and a lot younger than me but I never took her seriously.

When she started flourishing in business, people began calling her preposterous names like born businesswoman, rising star in fashion Industry and so on.

She was my nightmare, a rude awakening that I was not good enough. I was constantly compared to her at her every achievement. No matter how much I tried, I could never compare to her. Still I knew as the eldest and only son sooner or later I will be the true heir of my father. She could never surpass me despite having superior qualities.

Fortunately, my father still loved me enough to take me under his wings. He taught me everything about running the business and giving out orders to do my bidding. He introduced me to Alexis granting me enough funds to fight my sister. I knew people were not happy being the successor buy it didn't matter as long as I had my way.

They were just jealous of my achievements trying to undermine me every chance they got but I would be victorious in the end as long as my father supported me.

However, my sister never faulted, sometimes I wonder why god gave me such a capable sister, it was not fair!

Tonight was going to be my highlight, my father already told me that he was finally ready to retire leaving everything in my hand to manage. This was one time, I could show that I was better than my sister!

The winning process might be crude and unfair but that's what I had to go through ever since she xame in my life. I am willing to pay any price just to one up her. Beside everything was fair in love and war!

However, just as I was knocking on the victory's door, my good sister found someone I consider the most dangerous being in the world, the fucking heir of Rothschild family.

" Father, I am against your decision." She shouted making her presence known to all the guests.

Even Alexis distanced herself since she knew her work was done. When Delphina drops the bombshell, she would leave the scum to finally join her side.

Alan was angry, so angry that it was boiling over. The dumb bitch was so carefree like she didn't even care about her investments. She was already heavily invested, probably more than few billions! If he lost wouldn't it hinder all her carefully prepared plan?

Everyone watched the classic civil war between two giants. Bernard looked at his daughter while squinting trying to understand her next move. Alan was only a supporting role ready to be sacrificed for the plot to progress!

" Delphina, my dear daughter, can't it wait until I make my announcement?" he said with a sigh with a hint of discomfort on his face.
