Chapter 884 Dinner-4

Escoffier, a simple sighboard hung on top of a small cottage, the surrounding area was littered with small plants which was meticulously taken care of.

The so called restaurant didn't even had a parking space but he confidently drove one block away and parked the car.

Helga looked outside, everything around them were dimly lit because of lack of residentials spaces. The cottage seemed to be the only standing 'monument' around this place.

" Is this the place?" Helga asked with a slight hesitation.

" Are you disappointed?"

" No,no, I don't think we are properly dressed for this place." Shr felt a little embarrassed.

" Just trust me. This is a hidden place not known to many, I am sure you would like this place." He leaned in and gave her a peck before exiting the car to open the door for her like a gentleman.

Because of the cold atmosphere, he didn't want her to shiver so he took off his jacket and wrapped her up.

" Thank you." She said with a smile as all her concerns washed away. It was strange to think that she trusted him with all her life even when they only known each other for few days.

Samuel face changed when he reached the small door. He could feel the presence of many people inside which was surprising.

He had been to this place few times in the past but he always felt this place's prestige relied only on word of mouth.

It was the owner's decision, as it was a written rule which was handed down through the generation that's how special this place was which meant they barely able to fill this place only having some regular customers.

" What happened?" Helga asked.

" Nothing, I think we have company. Just follow my advice and don't do anything rash. Albright?"

" You little rascal, didn't we talked about not speaking your mind in public?" The woman pinched his cheek while chuckling.

Before she turned and asked politely," Why don't you sit with us?"

" Darling-"

" It's alright, you are always paranoid whenever we go out. I don't want to ruin their date just for our sake beside there is a lot of space at the table." The woman remained adamant.

The man looked at her for a moment before sighing knowing he wouldn't be able to reduse his wife especially when it was their anniversary.

He gave his guards a nod letting Samuel and Helga through. Helga was hesitant because they were just strangers. But Samuel whispered that it was going to be okay.

" There is no need to be scared. My husband might have a fierce face but I can attest that he is kind and affectionate." the woman chuckled smirking at her husband.

The man could only shake his head at his woman's antics. She had always been like this but at the same time he knew, she was only trying to calm down two young kids.

They watched Samuel drag the chair for Helga before sitting beside the kid. After that he took of his disguise which again stunned everyone.

Watching his handsome face and silver hair dropping onto his face gave a sense of serene feeling. How could someone be so handsome?

That's when man tensed up remembering something. He knew he found his face familiar but had never expected to meet him at his restaurant.

Before they could say anything, the waiter came and disrupted the awkward atmosphere. The staff wanted to ask for their orders.

Samuel handed Helga the menu and ask her to order what she liked. Helga was surprised to see the handwritten paper that they were passing as menu.

Still she ordered some of the familiar dishes eagerly expecting to taste it. He did hype her up a lot saying it was a hidden gem but she would not be sure without seeing it with her own eyes.
