While they were midair, he called Delphina to get more information about the incident. She didn't really tell him anything just asked him to get to Paris as soon as possible. It was because of her restless voice that he decided to go on the spot.

" Hello, Miss Delphina." He said in a calm tone. The satellite phone came in handy when he needed to contact people midair.

" Mr Samuel, you don't have to be so respectful with me all the time. Just call me Delph or Delphina." Her voice came over through the phone but her request did surprise him. They met one time and barely talked for couple of times over the phone. They were not that familiar yet.

" Well, you have to drop the honorifics too. Just call me Samuel or Sami" Surprisingly, Delphina hummed in satisfied tone. It's looked like she liked his answer.

" The reason why I called you is to inform you about the Group's party in Paris. From my careful observation, it doesn't seem to be a normal one. Almost all of the important people of the company are invited."

Samuel was a little confused. It was common to hold such lavish parties especially in fashion circles. Such a things shouldn't have have forced her to invite him. What's the situation? he felt more and more wary about it.

" Aren't you afraid that people will find out about our cooperation? We have been pretty discreet up at this point. Seeing an outsider like me would definitely drive away some core support of your faction." He was very clear how such large families work.

Succession war had always been a bloody battlefield. People would compete with wits or even resort to despicable methods just to get a leg up. It would be more intense in the case of LVHM group which had such a large share in fashion market.

In the meantime, Delphina had to work hard and had to build up her strength from ground up. Even then, she was able to go toe to toe with her brother's faction!

" Also, there is something that I will like to inform you about. I don't know how but my brother seems to have a backer and their forces are frightening. I believe it's similar in strength to one of the top families in the states."

" It could be easily arranged. I don't think anyone in the States would dare if my grandmother Eleanor gave them a warning."

" No, it's more complicated than that. My brother was able to woo someone important from that family. Since it's a love affair, their loss and gain would have little effects on it. My brother is quite cunning when it comes to using people." He heard her sigh again.

" Tell me more about it." Samuel frowned. If an important lady of that family was involved, he had to take this matter seriously. They would go all out because no one would like their family's reputation smear especially when it was a girl. It would affect future marriage prospects.

" Is it a happy cooperation with no ulterior motive? Or is this another trick of her old man to boost his son's reputation?" He thought while he waited for her to speak.

" I don't know which force she belongs to but I happen to know that she inherited a large amount of inheritance. Recently, she is spending money frantically. As far as I know, she already has five percent of groups shares. Sami, the current situation is very unfavorable to me. I know I am asking a lot but I feel like this is old man's hopes to rectify elder brother's status." She paused for a second.

" I really need you right now."
