They sneaked inside and fortunately they were not discovered by others yet. Steve and Arthur was in lead greeting Amanda which they hadn't seen in months.

She didn't live in the main mansion and had always been here in the woods and without Samuel, they never jad a reason to drop by.

Others also followed as she led them to the living room where Samuel was finishing up his food but what surprised them was the presence of someone else in the living room.

Somewhere along the way, Luna made her way inside the house and was just lazily laying at his foot. Samuel could feel that she was not happy with what her pack did which must be why others were not with her and she came here alone.

When she felt the presence of others, she sat up almost reaching Samuel's shoulder as he was sitting down.

Her ears were erect as she narrowed her pale blue eyes to screen the strangers. Samuel wiped his mouth before patting her a couple of times to calm down but she still stayed beside him as a sign of her protecting him.

The wolf pack never really had much interaction with people outside Samuel's circle and she only met his team a couple of times in the past.

She might not understand human relationships but she could tell that Samuel was someone of a leader just like her which was why she was not howling or growling at their direction.@@@@

" I know but first, just put your cellphones in here. We don't know when they would start to get suspicious. Unlike me, I think they could easily track you guys." He produced a small square box, a device that could nullify signals and tracking.

It's not that he had these stuff laying around in house, it's just he had too much stuff that he wanted in this house and one of them was going to be equipment room which was recently finished.

Fortunately, it had everything that they would need for this mission including these devices. Everyone looked at each other before giving away their phones.

" I have to remind you. What I am about to do is dangerous. It would definitely be a test so if you don't want to be a part of it, I can understand. Unlike other times, we wouldn't have ghost soldiers supporting us or even HQ assisting us in the field. It would be different because I don't want yo leave even a signal shred of evidence linking what would happen tonight back to us or the Rothschild family." Samuel emphasised once and for all.

They were used to doing clandestine missions but even in the far trenches of unknown parts of the world they would have some backup plan but this time was different.

Not only do they have to prepare for the mission in few hours but they also had to plan it and excercise it in the main city. With many intelligence agencies which would include the security department of the country and the Rothschild family, it would be hard for them to bury everything without a perfect plan.

As expected, no one backed down because of his warnings. They had known the risk ever since they started serving him, he was rash but brilliant and he never ever lost to any enemy. If they were afraid now, it would be no different than being labelled as a coward.

People say heroism and stupidity is two different side of the same coin but they believed differently. If there were no brave people in this world, it would have imploded long ago, only by their contribution was there was a outward peace despite the murky under current.

He nodded obviously proud of them. These were the people that he could trust them with his life. With a decade of knowing them, he had never felt any different and it seemed like it would be same in the future!
