Ayize hurriedly came down the stairs trying to seperate the strange person from her kids. Only now did she realised that she didn't know anything about him.

They never introduced each other but he knew about her which was odd. From what Ze told her, there weren't many normal people that knew about their background after all their families could be used as leverage to obtain information.

It was a valid concern that's why they would regularly change their nicknames during missions. It wasn't hard to find out about their past but the Rothschild sealed their personal information file that was stored non-digitally to avoid hacks.

She only interacted with strangers on her first day after that she never really left home not knowing the surroundings. So Samuel shouldn't know that his family lived here. Beside, she could never imagine such a young person in high position! That seemed illogical! Even the tribal chiefs were forty before they were inaugurated, Samuel barely looked twenty!@@@@

" Be careful sister in law!" Seeing her run, he reminded her not to trip. She was surprised for a second because what he called her but she wanted to get to business.

Lwazi and Nandi were both in his arms smuggling against his neck as they looked at their mother's worried expression. They were too young to understand what was happening.

Even Samuel was confused because he could feel her fear. He didn't know what Ze said to her but it definitely spooked her!

" Did you talk to him? Is he coming?" He asked in a soft voice.

She tensed up not knowing what to say. Was this person luring her husband so that he could harm him? What could she even do when both her children were in his clutches?! She simply nodded while staring at his every movement.

Watching her watch him like a cat was awkward for him. He knew there was something very wrong but he wanted to wait for Ze so that he could clear up the misunderstanding between them.

Did the help finally arrived which led to him surrendering or was he planning something else? She was still suspicious of him!

Samuel stepped out of the door to see Sjors in the front while other horses were standing behind her. Even the baby deer whi seemed to be have grow up to their shoulder was standing in the back for the 'big sister' to have the first 'shot' at him.

Sjors neighed loudly as soon as she saw him and began to stomp her feet while bobbing her massive head. This time like all other times, she wouldn't let him go easily because he would vanished for weeks leaving them alone.

They would regularly visit his stone mansion in the woods along with the wolves but after repeated confirmation by Amanda who was the only one living there because of the renovations, would led them inside each rooms to make them realise that he really wasn't here.

Knight and Luna remembered his smell so it was not easy to fool her. The wolves and the ranch animals had a tactful understanding to stay out of each other's business but for this they collaborated which showed how intelligent they were.

" How is my best girl doing? Did you miss me? We don't have to do this. I told you that I will be going away but you didn't take me seriously." He slowly walked towards her fearing that her charge could hurt Ayize and the kids who were behind him.

Sjors didn't care what he had to say, she had to make him realise what his mistake was and who really was running this 'relationship'!

Ayize who witnessed this scene was dumbfounded. She didn't understand what the young man was saying to the massive horse but she could feel the intensity whenever Sjors stomped her front legs.

She thought Samuel was crazy confronting so many wild animals especially of this size alone. Even capable hunters of her tribe would run away or try to escape as their surroundings were often inhabitated by large animals like lions or elephants.

Everyone had to follow a common code of respect and once the line was crossed, the situation would turn disastrous just like what was happening before her eyes!
