Chapter 1097 Situation outside the Pub-3

Samuel was already looking back which made Kate also stopped to see what was happening. She thought the matter was over, maybe the police would be called but there were many witnesses that could corroborate her story.

Even if she was rude to her and Samuel, she didn't want her to go to jail because someone else was harrassing her. She decided if no one else says anything, she would go and give her statement.

She disliked the girl but the man was even more arrogant. Such people reminded her about her past and how the person manage to evade taking responsibility. Even right now, there was no end in sight for a conclusion!

" They didn't seem like police." Kate noticed ten people quickly surrounding the girl, few of them were trying to scare away the crowd, they obviously wanted to apprehend the girl.

When two of them crouched down and started treating the man with serious expression, trying to wake him up at the same time seeing if he was heavily injured or not.

She knew it must be that man's bodyguard. She tensed up seeing the scene. When similar thing happened to her, she couonly endure for it to end soon when she was abducted. She didn't remember much but if she was violated, she didn't know if she would continue living.

The school was already hard for her. Bella supported her wholeheartedly but she was only from a middle class family, Kate never wanted to drag her only friend into her mess.

The first time when she was rescued, she saw Isabella's face full off tears which was the beacon she needed because she had no one else. By this point, her grandparents who took care of her were already gone and her parents died early in car accident so normal people couldn't understand when someone like her was bullied at school.

With the adrenaline rush, she was like a cat but it was nothing in front of Samuel who was already behind her. He didn't know whether to let her do it or do it himself.

His show might be too much for people especially when he saw people recording it with their low quality which had the highest feature to date.

His silver hair was particularly a problem which would instantly give away his identity. Fortunately, the people on the other side noticed it too and came to snatch it from the man's hand.

By this point, the man who was knocked unconscious had regained his composure. It was obvious that they were prioritising his safety first before dealing with the surrounded lamb which was the girl.

Her face didn't look smug anymore. She did say that she could take on ten people but from other party's movements, she knew they wouldn't give her a chance to relax.

It wasn't like the movies were one man comes and take a shot before the second person followed by the 'protagonist' performing some sort of special movements to take down the next two guys in one fell sweep. No, it was real life and from their eyes even when they were wearing sunglasses, she could feel the intensity which was completely different from the normal people that hadn't experienced real pain.

She cursed herself for staying behind. If she only rushed out of the alley, there would be a crowd of people so the man along with his henchmen wouldn't dare to do anything to her. There was also a wide range of security cameras but the low quality hotel lacked funds to install such a thing which would only be eating at their expenses as nothing really happened in their neighborhood.

Who would have thought so many things combined would create a perfect opportunity for the man and his guards.

The man holding the camera was fighting with the guard but after getting pushed around he knew they meant business but he resisted, thr camera was shaking. The technology of stabilization wasn't available for phones yet so Samuel was relieved. But right before he could relax, he saw Kate walking to the person blocking the front and started shouting. He rushed to protect her knowing that, it was far from over. When gets like this it was hard to stop her!
