Chapter 1086 Meeting

Suddenly, the car stopped which made Adele suprised because she remembered this place but she never thought they would be visiting it right after his arrival.

" Sami, you.." Adele wanted to ask but she was cut off before she could say anything.

" Aren't you guys hungry? because I am starving. Let's go and get something to eat." He said with a smile on his face.

They were in front of the pub run by Kate and Bella. He thought about what happened and wanted to nip the problem in the bud beside he didn't have any reason to hide anything from them.

Kate might be surprised for a second but he knew how fragile she was on the inside. From their talk he knew she didn't think she was right to associate to with and was perfectly happy to be on the sidelines which was embarrassing.

Adele did have some interactions with Kate in his absence but because they were too busy, it's hard for them to meet.

Kate was under a lot of pressure worrying about external influence affecting her business much like what happened when the Green family was targetting her.

She had genuine business with a lot of loyal customers but the rumours could be fatal leaving them doubting the authenticity of ehat was write and what was wrong.

Samuel did intervene and solved her problem but the root cause was still there. If not for her, he wouldn't mind just going straight back to the states.

He already had a plan to what needed to be done to teach both Green family and their eldest son who tormented Kate in the past. But the problem was because they had some connections with thr Royal family, he needed to be mindful so as to not arise their suspicion.

After all, he knew about the knighthood that was imparted on the current head of the Green family. If he was excessive it would look bad on the Queen's image.

He didn't really have much interactions with other members of the Royal family but he was in a cooperative relationship with the Queen who too was trying to help him find out about the mysterious organization with the six crown symbols.

There was a lot to be taken into consideration so that his handywork would remain hidden even of the Queen sent her best men to investigate. If that didn't work he could make some deal with her outright, he only needed to teach the eldest son the lesson and didn't really care about the whole Green family.

There were a lot of shady things in their past but now a days most of these elite family were the same. There people would pay the price sooner or later because the truth couldn't be hidden for too long.

It would be a but boring to announce his presence so he wanted to surprise the two of them.

" This guy must be thinking about something evil." Adele shook her head. She was aware of his naughty sides but Robyn was unfamiliar with it.

" Why don't we order something first?" He asked them.

There were a variety of choices. The thing he liked about the small pub was the care they would put into their food variety.

Bella was learning new things constantly and with Kate at the helm, they would change ingredients leading to many specialities in food.

People mostly came to drink but the reason why this place was famous and they could afford to rent in such a prominent place was because of their good food.

Drinks were common but the snacks and food that went along with it were made with special care making people feel that it was worth the price. In recent months many of such stores were shut down due to the worsening economy which still hadn't recovered from the financial crisis.

Kate's pub manage to weather the storm entirely because of their good reputation. Although people didn't have much money to spend, they would occasionally come here to foot the bill after all they didn't want their favorite place to shut down.

Kate never really asked for help, her saving were enough to fill the holes and keep the paychecks coming which made her employee satisfied with the treatment. She was a good boss and took care of her people, even of they weren't paid on time they would protest knowing what the store was going through.

Samuel would like to help but he didn't want to come off as forceful. He would intervene if she was on her last leg but for now, he just wanted to support her from afar. After all, he knew her troubles and her thoughts of not wanting to take advantage of him due to their relationship.

It was a show of mutual respect which was essential in any relationship.

Soon the food was served, Robyn was pleasantly surprised by the spread. British food were notorious for being tasteless and didn't have a good reputation.

It was ironic, considering at one point of time they controlled most of the supplies of spices but for some reason they never seemed to integrate such things into their cuisine. Bella was different, she had experimented with different cuisines and had tailor made signature dishes to fit the patrons taste buds.

Even someone like Robyn who was little picky with food enjoyed the spread. In the middle of eating, Samuel called the waiter and asked him to call the chef because the food was unsatisfactory.

The other party was surprised at first but when he saw the girls smiling while Samuel winking at her, she understood what these people were upto. She hurriedly went to the kitchen and calemed herself down before dawnioa worried face, a natural born actor wanting to see what Bella's reaction would be like!
