Chapter 1083 Exposed?

" Robyn?" Samuel exclaimed seeing her smiling from ear to ear looking at him holding Adele in his arms.

" You know her?" Adele was shocked. She didn't know they were acquaintances. But now that she thought about it Robyn did agree to come with her even though she knew Adele was going to airport to pick up her boyfriend.

They were superficial friends at best that came under questionable circumstances brought in my common interest in music. Only now she understood why Robyn was hanging around her. She was a little angry with her for being deceived.

" Well.." Samuel didn't know what how to reply to her. It was true many things happened and Robyn was there with him for few days but he always felt like she wasn't that into him.

First of all, he didn't seem like her type. It might be bad to say but he always felt like the other party was just with her for convenience and there were no underlying feeling behind what they did.

It was purely because of Anastasiya's shenanigans that he met with Robyn and Miranda. He always thought after those days, he wouldn't be able to see her much less meet her so soon. After all, as a famous singer she had very tight schedule with numerous concerts and also her recent album release to tend to.

She had been around that scene for quite sometime now after all she signed with the company at just the age of sixteen. He also knew about her previous relationship which was quite toxic so much so that there were many rumours about them throwing hands at each other. At least that was confirmed which made people more sympathize with her ordeal.

At the same time, they got back together a number of times during their two year relationship. It showed that she had different taste in men, at least she wouldn't like someone as steady and boring as him. With so much mental gymnastics going inside his head, he still couldn't figure out why she was here with Adele. Was it just a coincidence?

If she knew, she would surely have kicked him directly. These were often the problem with such 'clever' men, they would always overthink things.

Why couldn't she be interested in him? Was he looking down her because of her appearance? As a black girl with questionable life choices, others often assume many things about her but she would never think Samuel would also have that line of thinking.

She was unapologetic and did what she wanted. What of she was interested in him? Who was going to stop her? He also stopped thinking about such things, it wasn't polite to assume things, since they were on friendly terms he didn't want to come of as rude or something worse!

The agent didn't know who was behind it but they were aware of the changes in the music industry behind the scenes. WMG acquisition was billion of dollar deal and the person behind it also acquire ZY recording few months prior to it.

Since Robyn was going to release an album soon, the agent thought it was a good thing for her to ger acquainted since she was in London due to one of her endorsement deal. They never thought that they would meet the person herself, Adele when visiting the company.

At first there was minimal contact between them but Adele was a fan of Robyn and admired her career from an unknown artist to standing at the forefront because of her unique voice and talent.

During their talks they had similar views and similar interests in music. Robyn was also impressed because of her talent, she did listen to her songs when they were in the studio.

She was couple of years older than Adele and could be considered her senior but there was no air about her. In just few days, they became quite close and there was even talks about future collaborations.

That's when Robyn found out about Adele's backer. Seeing the familar photo of Samuel she understood everything. He did tell her about her but she didn't really take it to heart.

After all their relationship wasn't exclusive enough at that time. At least that's what Samuel thought, it was circumstances that led to it and he firmly believed she would get over it after some time apart.

He could tell she wasn't someone who would be held down by one man especially someone like him who had such a 'colourful'. Why would a star of her calibre would ever agree to such a biased relationship? But he thought wrong.

Was it easy for people to forget him? He didn't know his own charm. Not to mention the things they did, how could any normal human being could ever compare to his 'performance'? He was essentially trying to deny the reality but it was off no use.

He never considered himself as a good person at least someone good wouldn't be engaging in such unscrupulous behaviour but what could he do? Not to mention his weird powers that were counterproductive, even Apollo warned him about his 'fate'.

He just didn't want to admit that he often used his lower head when it came to beautiful women. On top of that he would find himself in such situations which was too hard for him to ignore.

Impulsive was one way to describe his behaviour but there was other factors that he didn't have any hold on. Nonetheless, he knew he couldn't just abandon them after all he had influence on their hearts but at the same time they also imprinted in his mind. It was a two way street!

Adele was shocked, her mouth were open seeing the scene and she wasn't able to recover until Robyn released Samuel and looked her way while licking her lips.
