Chapter 1037 Coincidence? I think not!-1

" The order for table five. It's at the back-"

" I know." Samuel cut off the middle aged woman who was at the counter and hurried made his way toward the designated table.

It only took him a glance to remember the full layout of the lodge. Beside, he remembered everyone of their faces and what they ordered.

Mrs Anna was the sole proprietress running the front end of the business. Her husband and her son worked in the back manning the kitchen while few other employees took care of cleaning the room or booking it as required.

When she put up the advertisement, she knew it was really necessary as she couldn't run around all day serving customers and also taking care of the cash counter, at least she needed one more person for the job.

Her daughter was usually responsible for it but for some reason she had been depressed ever since she returned from her short trip.

She looked at disappearing back of the handsome young man who suddenly came to ask for the job.

Despite the low pay, she was very satisfied with his performance. It's been almost an hour and he made zero mistake, from writting down orders to delivering them correctly, there was no fault and he was quite energetic too unlike her lazy daughter!

She nodded in her heart and return to the kitchen window to deliver new orders. Their little cafetaria was extra busy still she was quite free.

Samuel on the other hand took to the work as a fish in familiar water. He was still wearing his trustee hat but the mask was gone. With his ethereal face visible, the customer were polite and responsive despite his ordinary looking clothes.@@@@

He smiled brightly taking care of them to the best of his abilities. From occasionally talking to them to smiling brightly, his sunny and handsome appearance brought a lot of customers.

It might be his fault but there was no way he could tell her mother about their situation. He could tell she wasn't like other 'elders' but no matter what happens in future, he was here for a job, for a formal meeting he need to ask Genevieve before revealing his true identity.

" Still, she told me that her career is taking off. I don't her to be distracted by other things."

" Understandable." He nodded. She would have a lot of travelling in her future, being a runway model is a tough job. Maybe she had to lose some weight as 'curvy' wasn't exactly popular at this time.

" What about you young man? Other than your name, you didn't tell me anything. I let you take this job as a risk but you are doing pretty good. If you need more money we can discuss it." Anna said with a hopeful tone.

Samuel just shook his head, this was going to his first and last day at the job but he didn't want to tell her out right but at the same time he didn't want her to be so hopeful.

" I don't know. I am just collecting some money for travel, maybe I won't be here tomorrow. It all depend on my mood."

" Oh? From the looks of it, you seem like someone born in wealthy family. My eyes might be old but I can tell the way you interact with the guest and your posture. It's all mysterious." She said with a smile. She had an inkling after seeing him work for an hour. This young man was not easy, maybe he was here to experience life? She only heard of such things in rumours.

" This...I don't-"

" Mom! What's for lunch today!" Suddenly a cheerful voice interrupted their conversation. Samuel looked to the side to see the girl he was waiting for. Genevieve also noticed him, as disguises don't properly work on people that had seen and known about him prior to seeing him in disguise. She froze, her cheerful expression instantly turning into that of confusion.

" What?" She blurted out, almost shocked seeing him sitting together with her mother!
