As it was already late, they decided not to go out to eat. Elise stuck to Samuel throughout the whole meal and even urged him to feed her. He smiled and patted the little princess, spoiling her as much as he could. Mayra's craftsmanship was as impeccable as he remembers, they had a hearty meal.

Elise who was in his arms was bobbing her head as today was too hectic for her small body to endure. She was sleepy but still grasping at his clothes refusing to let him go in fear that she wouldn't see him again.

It was only after a lot of coaxing and a bath together that she finally understood that this time he was going to keep his promise and accompany her tomorrow. He read her a bedtime story oversimplifying few things adding big of magic and of course, horses that she loved. It didn't take long for her to fall asleep with a smile, he tucked her gently joining the girls downstairs.

" Well, I see you haven't lost your touch of deceiving kids." Kayla said jokingly. Since Eleanor brought many presents especially few expensive wines, she was starting to go on another binge spree.

" Humph! It better than to chase girls around the city! We already know that you have been spending these last few days with supermodels! There has already been some movement in your so called club!" Kayla wasn't going to admit defeat so easily!

" They are not bad. At least, I think Robyn and Miranda are nice." Mayra had completely different outlook. As someone who had touched the entertainment circles in the past, she was keenly aware of quality of women that 'permeated' that place.

If she had been a ambitious person that loved money and fame, she could easily joined the rank of top model after all, she was beautiful and had explosive figure but because she had moral conflict with the way the industry operated she didn't want to 'sell' herself to achieve success.@@@@

Not to mention, her family wasn't doing that bad they might be an ant compared to the Rothschild but they were pretty wealthy first generation immigrants with tens of millions of assets, her non profit operated on the proceed of her share from the family business.

" She...I don't know. All I see her talk about how she was going to visit few tattoo parlour and even shared few photos of what she was going to get. I am too embarrassed to talk about it." She shook her head feeling that she had never seen such a shameless person!

Samuel was confused but it did line up with what he expected from her after all, she didn't have anything common with these 'young' girls and had a different life experience. At least she wasn't trying to recruit them to being a spy or anything. He was afraid to check the group, he didn't want to let them know that he knew about whatever they were doing in the group.

It was better to be unaware to protect himself especially when many of them were not talking to him currently!

" Alright, let them do their thing. I am going to go see Helga and Katarina first. I need to clear up some things." He said in a solemn tone. He knew his grandmother was right, it was bad for him to shy away from them especially when they were here.

He had soft spot for everyone of them even Alana and Roberta but he would have to delay talking to them for now, he wanted to face them and see what they wanted to do. No matter what they decided, Anastasiya already promised him that she would take care of their little problem back home.

" Are you sure? I mean..."

" I am sure. I never really got to explain myself. It better to say everything and not feel regret later on after all I don't want your friendship to be ruined because of my mistake." He knew that Mayra and Kayla would definitely warm up to Helga and others after all they had many similar hobbies and were good natured individuals.

Lucie already informed him after keeping him in the dark for past few days that Kayla decided to rent out one of the apartment to all four of them at low price. They might not live here for many months but this would surely become one of their home bases.

He wasn't sure what happened with Genevieve but since she was a local, he didn't have to worry about her. She was also the most experienced among the five of them and wouldn't be easily deceived in her career. He might not have done anything to her but he felt like it was his duty to provide for her in secret just like what he was about to do to others.
