Chapter 1012 Run!-4

What followed was a strange occurrence of Eleanor knocking on Mayra's door early in the morning. Since Kayla just finished a night shift, she was still sleeping and with grandma and girls helping take care of Elise, she was also indulging herself by sleeping late.

Opening the door, she was surprised to see Eleanor standing outside. She wore conservative clothes but their value couldn't be hidden. With a flowy natural gray hair and a pretty face, she hardly looked over fifty. Even with wrinkles on her face, she aged beautifully. With light makeup, she was exuding exceptional beauty!

It's not like she took great care of her body, it seemed to be her god gifted genes. Behind her stood a tall man with broad shoulder matching the attractiveness of the elderly woman in front. He had some gray in his temples and kind eyes but for some reason he stood a step behind the woman like a statue just staring at Mayra.

There was no meaning behind his look, he was just doubting whether this was the right approach. After all they were people with considerable status, wouldn't the people freak out finding them outside their door without any notice?

But how should he made his wife realize such a thing when she was moving on instinct! He had always been helpless when she was in this state so for now, he could only say hello to the people protecting these people and told them the reason for their visit. He also called Kenneth after landing telling him what his wife wanted.

It was forwarded to Daniel who was the chief of security and person responsible for all the ghost soldiers. Still Eleanor asked him to keep her visit a secret after all she was here to give his cute grandson a 'surprise'.

Mayra was surprised when these unknown people barged inside her home. Even Kayla who just fallen asleep came out to see the shocking scene. Soon, others gathered which included the grandmother, Helga and Katarina. Elise was still asleep.

He looked nothing like the rugged handsome young man that he turned out to be but a pretty girl with long wavy silver hair. The only characteristics that they could identify was his bright green eyes and his dazzling smile other than that they could even tell that it was a boy!

It instantly melted the icy atmosphere as the girls started to discuss many embarrassing stories that Eleanor told them which made things awkward for Nathaniel. He just said sorry to his grandson before venturing to restroom to give them some privacy.

Because they were laughing and giggling downstairs, Elise also woke up to find strangers in her home. At first she was apprehensive about meeting new people especially Eleanor who was grinning from ear to ear just looking at her.

But when Mayra and Kayla told the situation and said that they were her grandparents, it helped smooth things over. In just one morning, Eleanor managed to charm everyone but the little girl did the charming for her. She was bright and cheerful girl wanting to spend more time with her 'new' grandparents.

Even Nathaniel couldn't resist her puppy eyes. She was quite different from Laura who was a big troublemaker when she was Elise's age. Just hearing her cheerfully call them grandpa and grandma was enough to make their hearts melt.

Which was why, Eleanor was even more angry inside that Samuel kept this happiness from her! That's when they came with a brilliant plan and as luck would have it, they also received his call informing them about his upcoming arrival.

Helga and Katarina weren't ready to meet him yet so they excused himself. As the only two rational people inside the house, Nathaniel and Kayla's grandmother tried to talk some sense to others but they were hellbent on helping Eleanor extract her sweet revenge!

Kayla and Mayra would act while Eleanor would wait with Elise for his arrival. He wouldn't even know what hit him!
