Both girls thought for a second and nodded, Samuel still have considerable shares in the company. Although they are non voting shares, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine those small and large shareholder would band together to come under his roof because of how much more influential his family background is.

He might not have such thoughts but he couldn’t really know what others were thinking about, they might become greedy trying to please him and undermining Delphina’s position. The assistant who was just about to enter, fled the scene. Even people vacated their station going out for a coffee break, it seemed like this scene was quite common.

Fortunately, Alexis stopped cursing profanities after ten minutes. She was tired, so tired in dealing with the slut. She just wanted to lie down and sleep that’s when Samuel made his proposal. Since the time was right, he knew she wouldn’t be able to refuse him.

" Hey, hey, Are you trying to poach my partner in front of me?" Delphina panicked. She knew Alexis’s worth. Without her help, it wouldn’t be possible to stabilize such a huge entity in just couple of days. Beside she was quite resourceful and even more well connected.

" Go on." Alexis turned to him and said with a smile.

" Why not? My work here is basically done. I know that you can make this company flourish after all you are the youngest chairman in history!" This was one of the line that she would use to tease Alexis.

" Delphina. It’s time you stop slacking off if not I will tell Mr. Bernard!"

" Alright alright." Delphina said helplessly. She never expected such a thing to happen today. She might be taking it easy but that didn’t mean she was lazy!
