"Great, I will draft up the contract as soon as possible for all of you.

"The fees to join the franchise with all the required branding, training, and equipment will be around a hundred taels of silver.

"As for the ingredients, they will be sold at a fixed price." Lin Xuan Qi said and the others nodded their heads.

It sounded reasonable to them and they had no issues with it.

Lin Xuan Qi nodded at their response, raised his teacup and proposed a toast to everyone.

Sima Long and the others raised their teacups and returned the toast to him.

"Here’s to the success of your franchise business." They said in unison and everyone including Lin Xuan Qi downed the tea in a mouthful.

Lin Xuan Qi sat back down onto his favorite seat and asked, "Have you been invited to the dinner by the new Guardian of the City, Zhao Geng Nian?"

Sima Long wiped the tea off the side of his lips and replied, "The Sima Family has been invited.

"I will see if I am able to join the dinner when I get back."

Liu Shao and Hun Xiong Kun nodded their heads and replied, "We are invited too."

"That would be great, I might need your help at the dinner to..." Lin Xuan Qi leaned forward and briefed them on what he required them to do at the dinner.

It was a perfect opportunity for him to get the word out and bring in more franchisees.

Lin Xuan Qi wrote the franchise contract for Sima Long and the others and sent it to them.

Time wasn’t wasted while he waited for them to send it back; he made use of the wait to continue writing the training manuals and came up with the other necessary items.

That was the best he could do for now without the properties for the eateries and he rested for the day afterwards.

But even with so much planning, he had another surprise during the night when he was with Xue Cong.

"What’s wrong?" She asked when she felt him stop for a moment.

"Nothing’s wrong." Lin Xuan Qi shook his head at her and gave her a huge grin.

Words appeared in his mind and they had made him very happy.

"Like the time when you pretended that you weren’t the master of the mansion?" She said without much thinking and that got him stumped.

"That was different. I was testing how trusting you were with others." He cooked up an excuse and said.

Xue Cong sighed and protested, "But I’ve changed now."

That was why he liked her so much.

She was ever so trusting and supportive of him.

There was, however, one last thing he would ask of her.

"From today onward, let Xiu handle more of the work; you should take good care of yourself."
